When we receive correspondence such as this letter it reminds us all of why we work so hard to help families of the fallen. Thank you for this letter which I am honored to share.
Mark Dana, Two Hundred Club President
Dear Two Hundred Club,
Words can’t express the gratitude I feel towards your organization for always remembering our family. What a JOY it was to receive the beautiful red roses last Thursday for Mother’s Day. They truly uplifted me and again I can’t thank you enough!
We also want to thank you for remembering Cory during the holidays and his birthday. We are truly humbled by the generous gifts that are sent!
This year our hope was to attend the 10th Annual Savannah Mile. We have never been able to attend and would like so much to be able to personally thank the members of the organization. But, Cory has completed all of his Eagle Scout Requirements and will be doing his project that Saturday, May 23rd. Once the project is completed he will be able to fill out the paperwork to earn his Eagle Scout Award.
Cory will turn 16 this year and already has his temporary driving permit and is looking forward to having his drivers license. He played Freshmen Football this year and was on his High School Robotics Team. He is a great young man and I am honored to be his mother. Dyke would be so proud of the young man that he has become.
Thank you again for all you do for us!
