The 10th Anniversary of the Savannah Mile was on Saturday, May 23, 2015.

Captain Matthew Vinton from the 1st Ranger Brigade returned to pass the Full Gear * All Out Flag to the new winner, Eiger Erickson, also from the 1st Ranger Brigade. Full Gear is defined as 30 pounds of gear, this includes helmets, jackets, packs, etc..

The Savannah Mile features the Family Fun Run/Walk, Age Group Races, the Memory Walk, and the Heroes Heat. The Memory Walk has the families of our fallen walking the mile to remember their loved one and to honor their memory.

The Finish line  on Drayton Street at Broughton Street was the scene of many goals met, high fives for our heroes, and amazing accomplishments by every runner who came out to run for our fallen heroes. The Awards and Party in Johnson Square was a fun filled event with good food provided by Savannah Lodging and N’Laws produce along with beverages from Coca Cola. The beautiful 1st place trophies, provided by Port City Metals were beautiful and unique.

We would like to give a big thank you to all of our sponsors, runners, and spectators. The Savannah Mile appreciates all of you.

We will see you next year at the 11th annual Savannah Mile on Saturday, May 28, 2016.
